Oddfellows Chester Hotel & Apartments

Gorgeous little building set back from the main odd fellows building and through the secret garden. There seemed to be plenty of rooms but we didn't hear a peep put of anyone all night although we seen people coming and going whilst we were sat out in the garden had such a peaceful sleep in a lovely comfortable room on an extremely comfortable bed. Woke early as the room was so bright from the sky lights and we just got up and checked out early because we couldn't go back to sleep but right before we left seen a switch on the side of the headboard that said 'MY' on it had no idea what it was but pressed it anyway and to our now disappointment we discovered it hides the sky lights and makes the room pitch black. This would have been lovely had we known but we did enjoy getting up and out although very tired and hungover.

Excellent apartment there was 8 ladies in our apartment we stayed in number 1 .Great there was a designated parking area as one lady had a car .Plenty of bathrooms for us all comfy beds. Excellent location near all attractions shops bars and the River and a stones throw from the city Wall. Even a change of towels and more toilet roll arrived while we were out. The 2 ladies who slept on the bed settee also had a great comfy sleep. Definitely stay here again .

Great location - loved the bar and the outside areas. Room very clean - nice comfy bed. Loved it that you can open the window. Great breakfast that went on till 10.30am and that check out was 12 - both what you want when having a weekend away. Loved the note about Nurofen!!

I was really pleased with our room, it was beautifully presented. The bathroom and sink area was so lovely to get ready in! It felt modern and luxurious. The corridors were tidy and smelt amazing! The staff were great and made us feel really welcome and looked after. This room exceeded my expectations and it was a lovely surprise to my boyfriend for his birthday. I’d definitely come back!

Personally The best thing was the 2 night staff that worked Sunday bank holiday .The 2 gentlemen tidying an allowed us back in the hotel after 1am where the best part about the whole stay .As we got back late I asumed with the price there would be some basic snacks for customers on site but sadly there wasnt .Your lovely friendly staff had great batter and manners and 1 even offered me a sandwich of his own .Although I would have accepted gladly I didnt take it off him :). But being a Hotel Manger Myself Based in Liverpool for Travelodge .All I can say This was excellent customer service from both lads/staff working that Night .They went above and beyond with personality! which clearly came to the both Naturally !. It was a gorgeous room Vibe and atmosphere ! But my return to this hotel in the near future will souly be because of your night staff who are a credit to your company ! .As people love Real people not Fake !!!. please thank them both for me as this made a lasting impression and Chuckle for me an my Husband to look back on -on our wedding anniversary stay !
